I’ve been writing about health and fitness for national magazines such as Prevention, Women’s Health, SELF, REDBOOK, Dr. Oz: The Good Life, Family Circle, and more for the last 13 years. I’ve decided to take what I’ve learned through my interviews with top celebrity trainers, nutritionists, health experts, and more and put it into a blog to help others. My Success Story

For years I struggled with my weight due to PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome) and insulin resistance. And even though I’ve been an athlete my whole life, playing soccer throughout college at Penn State University, I was still never thin. So when I got pregnant with my first baby in 2011, I gained nearly 45 lbs. After giving birth I felt sluggish, tired, and unhappy with my body. I vowed to make a change to be as healthy as possible for my daughter. I started 21 Day Fix in January 2015 and by 4 months postpartum, I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight! Fast forward to summer 2016, and through the help of my coach, family, and team–not to mention programs like Insanity Max30, 21 Day Fix Extreme, PiYo, and Hammer & Chisel–I am the healthiest and most fit I have ever been in my life!
